Porto vs. Braga

This is the finals of the UEFA Europa League 2011 = Porto vs. Braga. This is the only time in UEFA Europa League history that the finals was a meeting between two Portuguese teams. They both got pretty good chances but none of them were goals until minute 43. In minute 43 came the winning header goal by Radamel Falcao with a cross from Freddy Guarin. The game scores were 1-0 when the game was over and Porto won the UEFA Europa League. And Lucho raises the cup.

Fifa World Cup 2010 Finals Spain vs. Netherlands

This is the most important game in the whole world because it's the finals of the World Cup 2010 between Spain and Netherlands. This was a really really really good game. Edwin Van Der Sar played really well although he was getting too old. Iker Casillas played a little better because he had better skills.But both goalies got a 24-hour training. When it was overtime, the winning goal from Andres Iniesta came. When overtime was over, Spain celebrated like crazy pigs. Then they jumped holding hands in a circle, and then finally, Iker Casillas lifted up the World Cup.As they all got their medals, Spain was happier then anything else on earth.     

Portugal vs. Czech republic

This is the 1st quarter finals of the tournament. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a dazzling header in minute 71 to make Portugal pass on to the semi-finals. I think this game was pretty easy for Portugal because they were versing the easiest team in the quarter-finals.

F.C. Barcelona vs.F.C. Porto

This is UEFA Super Cup match 2011 between Barcelona and Porto. Barcelona scored goals in late parts of each half. Lionel Messi scored a goal on minute 39 and Cesc Fabregas scored a goal in minute 88. This was a glorious day for the club F.C. Barcelona as they win 2 UEFA Super Cups in 3 years.  Porto goalie Helton got very mad because he thought that since Porto won the UEFA Europa league they should've won the UEFA Super Cup too. Xavi Hernandez raised the cup for Barcelona as they pick up another win!!    

Atletico Madrid vs. Athletic Club

This is the finals of the UEFA Europa League 2012 between Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club. Atletico Madrid are looking for 2 UEFA Europa Leagues in 3 years. Falcao knocked the game out with an awesome goal in minute 6. Beats Gorka Iraioz (Athletic Club's goalie) and that gives an early lead to Atletico Madrid. But in minute 33, Gorka Iraioz was so mad when Falcao happened to score another goal for his team. You probably realize that Gorka Iraioz didn't have such a good game. But to make matters worse Diego scored a goal making the game 3-0. That's how it ended in full time and it led to Antonio Lopez  raising the cup. My player of the game was Radamel Falcao. He played very well. He scored two really good goals against Gorka Iraioz. He also scored in two straight finals. (He scored 1 with Porto.)       

Chelsea vs.Bayern Munchen

This is the finals of the UEFA Champions League 2012 Chelsea vs.Bayern Munchen. Bayern Munchen played better but Didier Drogba kept saving and saving the team. Bayern Munich scored a goal in the regular time but it was offside. Still both Chelsea and Bayern scored goals in regular time. Also Cech saved Robben's game penalty in minute 104. 20 chances for Bayern, 15 chances for Chelsea and they went to P.Ks. The penalty game ended 5-4 including the goals not in penalties. Schweinsteiger wants to kill himself after missing the last penalty. There was 1 corner kick for Chelsea and 20 for Bayern. But in Chelsea's only corner kick Mata crossed it to Drogba which scored. And Lampard raises the cup.         

Barcelona vs. Athletico Bilbao

This is Josep Guardiola's last game for Barcelona. And it's the finals of the Copa Del Rey. Pedro scored a goal minute 3 and 27 and Messi scored in minute 21. Together they got a new piece of silverware for the team and Josep Guardiola leaves F.C. Barcelona happily.

UEFA Euro Cup Finals Spain vs. Italy

The UEFA Euro Cup Finals between Spain and Italy was a poor but important game. They knocked the game out in minute 14 by David Silva's goal with a delightful assist by Cesc Fabregas. Jordi Alba's goal in minute 41 came with an assist from Andres Iniesta. That was the end of the 1st half. In the 2nd half there were two more goals by Torres and Mata in minute 84 and 88. Torres and Mata are the only players in soccer history that won the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Euro 2012 in the same year. Also Spain is the only team that won 3 national consecutive tournaments. That led Iker Casillas to raise the cup and to be the only captain of Spain with 100 wins. Jordi Alba won Man of the Match award. That's why Barcelona wants him.  

Germany vs. Italy

This semi-final between Germany and Italy was an interesting game. The 1st goal was a header goal by Mario Balotelli with a cross from Antonio Cassano in minute 20. Super Mario Balotelli happened to score another goal-this time an awesome one with a long pass from the genius Andrea Pirlo. Andrea Pirlo Man of the Match award for the 3rd time in the Elimination Round. The finals will be Italy vs. Spain. 

Spain vs. Portugal

Spain has had a nice and easy cup until they got to the semi-finals vs. Portugal. 120 minutes of game and it was still 0-0. They went to penalties. Spain's lineup was: Xabi Alonso, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Sergio Ramos, and Cesc Fabregas. 4-2 was the score, Cesc Fabregas with the winning penalty and Sergio Ramos Man of the Match. Spain is in the finals.

Italy vs. England

Italy and England are  2 great teams. This game I have to admit that Italy made more teamwork and had more chances. Italy completed 821 passes and England completed 414. Still there were awesome goalies which did not let up 1 goal. Actually they did let up a goal for Mario Ballotelli but unfortunately for the italians the refferee's assistant called it offside. My player of the game was Andrea Pirlo. He really had a great game. About 5 awesome assists in the whole game which he finished off with an brilliant curving penalty. 120 minutes of a great game until they went to penalties. The penalties ended 4-2 Italy won but they don't have that much chance of winning vs. Germany.   

France vs. Spain

This quarter final game between France and Spain was very important. Spain knocked the game out with an awesome header goal (almost outside the area) from  Spain's wing forward Xabi Alonso. Beats  Hugo Lloris (France's goalkeeper) and impossible to stop. But that wasn't enough for Spain and not even for Xabi Alonso. In minute 91 Xabi Alonso scored a penalty. France then knew that Spain already won them so they stopped playing good. By now you might be guessing that the best player by far was Xabi Alonso. Real Madrid shouldn't throw him away.

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munchen 2nd leg

This game between real madrid and bayern munich was really important. Both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich  got to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League. Bayern munich already had the lead 2-1 from the 1st leg. Only on minute 5, Angel Di Maria takes a shot, Alaba stopped the ball. It hit his hand. He got a yellow card and that meant that he's gonna miss next match. Also, of course Real Madrid had a penalty and Cristiano Ronaldo was taking it. He shot and he scored the opening goal. On minute 11, Mario Gomez takes a shot. Iker Casillas pushed the ball away and Frank Ribery shot the rebound right to the outside post. Two minutes after, Sergio Ramos had a great chance. When he was almost inside the area, he passed the ball to Karim Benzema which passed it right to Cristiano Ronaldo which shot the ball to the corner and scored. That made the game 2-0. The aggregate score was now 3-2 Real Madrid. On minute 26, Arjen Robben was dribbling inside the area. Pepe slide tackled him causing a yellow card for him and a penalty for Robben. Robben scored his penalty and tied up the aggregate score which was now 3-3. In stoppage time Robben took a free kick. He really thought about this quote: you don't need power, you need good aim. Anyway, Iker Casillas dove and caught the ball. After the break, on minute 47,Sebastian Schweinsteiger made a long pass to Mario Gomez which headed the ball right into the corner of the net but again Iker Casillas saves it. So they go to overtime. Real Madrid made two full time  substitutions which were Karim Benzema for Gonzalo Higuain, and Angel Di Maria for Kaka.On minute 104, Bastuber gets a yellow card and also he misses next match. Then, minute 117, Casillas passes the ball to Marcelo. He starts dribbling. He resisted 3 slide tackles. When he came to the area, he passed the ball to Higuain which shoots and scores. The goal was canceled by the referee's assistant because it was offside. So they went to P.K.s. Alaba is shooting first. He scored. Cristiano Ronaldo's shot was saved by munich's G.K. Neuer. Mario Gomez scores making the penalties 2-0 munich. Then Kaka shot a nice shot but missed. Then Kroos shot his penalty right to the angle but Iker Casillas tipped it off . Then Xabi Alonso shoots a high chip shot into the corner of the net.Then Lahm (the captain) shoots. Iker Casillas makes an awesome dive, he threw his body but left his arms behind. Then Sergio Ramos shoots. Higher than the cross bar! Does he want to shoot the ball to heaven?! Terrible shot. Now it's all up to Sebastian Schweinsteiger. He has 100% pressure. If he scores, they go to the finals. He takes a shot, and he scores!!! And Bayern Munich passes on to the finals vs. Chelsea FC. Looks like it's a hard game.  

Argentina vs. Colombia

This game between Argentina and Colombia, is from the Copa America. It's not so important because it's in  Group Stage, but it still is important. The opening chance was for Colombia on minute 3. Banega passes to Milito, Milito passes bad to Romero so Guarin gets the ball, Burdisso slide tackles him, no penalty, Moreno gets the ball, Romero charges up, he can't get it, Moreno still going, he shoots, it goes in the outside part of the goal. Then maybe ten chances for Argentina and it's halftime. Then after the break,  Argentina uses their three substututions. They are, Aguero for Banega, Lavezzi for Gago, and Higuain for Burdisso. That forms the best lineup for Argentina. The game ended 0-0 in full time. My player of the game was Romero. He saved 7 amazing chances. He played really good. The  weird thing about that is that Romero is usually a bad goalie. Looks like he's been training a lot.
